Aiko (艾可) is turning 10 on the 19th of November, 2012. She began existing a long time before her addition to SynthesizerV! Aiko was first revealed on KAWORU's Pixiv, with just the title "Animen", tagged gijinka. (link). She was later posted to Animen's blog that same day with her name and character description we know and love today!

From then on, she served as Animen's mascot, featuring in merchandise, comics and live performances. In the Archive Pinboard you can find the old accounts of Animen and Aiko on Facebook, Twitter and Plurk. Its like a cute cat-shaped time capsule! Animen has since slowed activities, but Aiko is with us on SynthesizerV!

Though her character birthday is April 3rd (of which she has had 9), the 10th anniversary of her debut is quickly approaching! I want to bring everyone together to celebrate her and introduce her to new people, something that can continue on past her anniversary. 

I will be highlighting creators and creating more and more resources throughout the next few months, and maybe more!
